Interview with Ryder Hesjedal on Canadian Cyclist. "...I started with him (Juerg Feldmann) in 1996. I've just come back from a 5 day camp with them. I was posting some good numbers, and we were working every day on different aspects of my training, getting ready for Europe. Juerg doesn't just go on what he learned 15 years ago, he's always updating himself with what's new in Europe."

Geoff Kabush interview in CyclingNews.com: ...Kabush's coach is Juerg Feldmann. "He's originally from Switzerland where he was really involved in speed skating and biathlons," explained Kabush. "It was only when he moved to Canada that he got involved in mountain biking. He has a good background in physiology and we do a lot of scientific training and lactate testing etc and working with a PowerTap. Since the end of '95 has been a slow building process. I'm always learning new things and adding those into the program. He's a great coach. He sets our program and he really teaches us how to implement it well. I've worked with him for so long now that I really understand why we are doing things in a particular way."

	PhysioFlow Enduro is a small and portable, battery-powered, noninvasive cardiac output device that was designed primarily to be used while a subject (or patient) is exercising. Setting training programs using personal cardiac output and other hemodynamic data optimizes your individual training plan to a degree never before possible.
The Enduro main unit is palm sized and worn in a pouch on the waist of the subject. Data is transmitted wirelessly to a Bluetooth receiver dongle on a Laptop Computer running the PhysioFlow Software. Respiratory Endurance Training improves vital capacity, performance and endurance capabilities in sports!

Respiratory muscles fatigue during sports activities. This leads to a decrease in performance. Studies by Prof. U. Boutellier, sports physiologist at the Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) and the University of Zurich, prove this in a most impressive manner.

The KoKo Peak Pro 6 is an intelligent, low cost peak flow meter that electronically measures PEF, FEV1, FEV6 and FEV1/FEV6 . The last 64 test results are automatically stored, eliminating the need for paper records. (PEF: Peak Expiratory Flow Rate, FEV1: Forced expiratory volume in the first second of expiration, FEV6: 6 second volume. The FEV6 is used as a surrogate marker for FVC (forced vital capacity). The advantage is more convenience in spirometric testing. The ratio FEV1/FEV6 ratio tracks the classic FEV1/FVC ratio quite accurately, and identifies patients at risk of rapid declines in FEV1 over time.) Use these values to track the progress of your Spirotiger training and identify fatigue of your respiratory muscles.

Hosand Aqua is the first and only system designed for use in water sports. Swimmers wear a specially designed vest that houses the heart rate chest strap and Hosand transmitter. The vest is hydrodynamic, keeps the HR belt in place when the athlete swims and turns, and houses the radio transmitter that transmits to a PC even while the athlete is under water or swimming the backstroke.
