I've spent the better part of the afternoon messing with what should be a very simple assembly of a tacx flow trainer and just can't figure out the brake. My bike has 700C wheels with 23C tires and I've mounted the extender plastic plates on the trainer which pushes the brake farther back but it doesn't seem to matter, the brake won't engage. When I mount my bike and I have the 1 inch steel horizontal cylinder screwed all the way in I can just barely pull the brake towards the tire but then it immediately pops out and doesn't hold. What am I doing wrong here?
