No one can ever hope to improve if all they hear is how smart they are. Critical is good as long as it is intellectual criticism and not mean natured.

This is rarely an issue except in the most severe cases. These people are not elite athletes.

No, the airways are ot restricted in these sports. The diaphragmatic motion could be restricted from increased intraabdominal pressure or chest wall motion could be restricted, but the airways themselves are hardly ever affected by positioning.

: The extreme position actual produces a mechanical pressure on some of the airways and reduces the amount or restricts the amount of air being able to reach the actual exchange place in the lungs.

No, extreme positioning can restrict the movement of the diapraghm or chest wall but does not restrict airways.

: Now there is a lot other " restiction " out there and I am sure we will find out more.( O 3 hazard in Athene during the olympics for all athletes reading here may be something to think about )

I currently expect a minimum of 4 golds medals at Athens will be PowerCranks trained. Most will be in cycling or triathlon. There could easily be 6-8 and I am working on getting more, especially in track and field. Unfortunately, nothing we do can guarantee a specific result in competition.
